How that compares with broadband spending

Ofcom reported average actual customer spend of approximately £31 per month for standalone fixed broadband in Q2 2025.

The current CEAC model proposes a £17.50 monthly household membership, a £13.50 difference against that national reference.

CEAC is designed to combine connectivity with local compute, storage and community digital services, so the final service proposition extends beyond broadband alone.

Connectivity is only one layer

A CEAC node is intended to combine connectivity with local compute, storage and digital services.

Membership design will define the mix of connectivity, local AI services, model access and remote-cloud escalation available to each community.
